Mechanical Components in the BÄR CARGOLIFT System
The load-bearing structure of the BC series is based on aluminium platforms with longitudinal and cross profiles bolted underneath, which transfer the applied load moment into the vehicle-side lift arms. Platform surfaces, stops, strike plates and approach rollers form the main components in direct contact with the load and shape the geometry of the transition edge to the loading bay. The consistent bolted attachment makes targeted replacement of individual segments easier and noticeably reduces the effort required for repairs after impact damage.
Inside the lift mechanism, joint pins, bearing bushings and pivot bearings ensure the defined kinematics of the lift arms. These components are classic wear points: play in the bearing positions leads to noise, inaccurate platform alignment and one-sided loading of the adjacent parts. Regular visual inspection of the pivot bearings, re-greasing via the existing grease nipples and the timely replacement of pins and bushings are the most effective measures for preserving the construction.
The BÄR CARGOLIFT mechanical range comprises several hundred individual parts across all capacity classes and model years. Key component groups include:
- Aluminium platforms of the BC series
- Lift arms, pivot pins and rotary bearings
- Closing mechanism with toggle levers and locks
- Bolted fasteners, bushings and grease nipples
In addition, we supply pins, bushings, bearings, platform components, approach rollers, wear strips and numerous further components for maintenance, repair and general overhaul.
