01. Shop system change and data transfer
01.1 New shop system
Our previous shop system was replaced by a modern and more powerful platform. This step was unavoidable as we had reached the limits of what was possible with the old system and further automation processes were only possible to a limited extent. The integration of the new shop system is 100% integrated into our ERP system and enables us to offer you a wide range of new functions and improvements without losing your previous data and preferences. This measure has also enabled us to implement numerous new automation processes.
01.2 Data transfer
We have worked with the utmost care and caution when transferring your data from the old store to the new system. However, we would like to point out that the two systems are completely different platforms. Despite our best efforts, we were therefore unable to transfer 100% of your data. However, we have successfully integrated the majority of your data into the new system. Should you nevertheless find that certain information is missing or has not been transferred correctly, we ask for your understanding and are of course available at any time to resolve any questions or concerns you may have.
01.3 New password assignment
Due to our strict security guidelines, passwords are always stored in encrypted form. Unfortunately, we were therefore unable to transfer your old passwords to the new system. As a result, all customers who already have a registered account will need to set a new password before logging into the new store for the first time. You will be asked to do this automatically when you log in for the first time. This is a one-time action.
02. Automated processing sequences
02.1 Automation progress
The new store system automates and optimizes numerous internal processes. This modernization allows us to respond more efficiently and quickly to your orders and inquiries. Thanks to automation, we can process orders more quickly, carry out payment reconciliation faster and manage your data more smoothly.
02.2 New editing processes
Automation covers the entire process from order creation and invoicing to the creation of the shipping label. Your orders are sent directly to our warehouse, which speeds up order picking and shipping preparation and ensures that the parcels are ready for collection by the parcel service in a timely manner. However, we would like to point out that this automation means that orders can no longer be changed or canceled once they have been processed. As soon as an order has been entered into the system and processing has been initiated, the entire process chain takes place automatically and without manual intervention.
03. Design and user-friendliness
03.1 Modern and discreet design
Our new store shines in a modern but discreet design that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also improves user-friendliness. The clear structure and intuitive navigation allow you to find the products you want quickly and easily. We have made sure that the design is stylish and functional at the same time to provide you with a pleasant shopping experience.
03.2 Improved mobile version
In view of the constantly growing use of mobile devices, we have fully optimized our new store for mobile devices. In contrast to our old store, which already offered mobile functions, the new version offers enhanced optimization for smartphones and tablets. Whether on your smartphone or tablet - you can shop conveniently anytime and anywhere. The mobile version of our store includes all the features and convenience of the desktop version, so you can enjoy a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience on the go.
04. Improved ordering processes
04.1 New checkout process
We have simplified and accelerated the checkout process to save you time. With a clear order summary and fewer clicks, you can complete your order faster. The optimized checkout process ensures that your purchase runs smoothly and efficiently.
04.2 Quick order
With the quick order function, you can search directly in the shopping cart by article number, reference number, article name or other properties. As soon as you have found the item you want, you can add it to your shopping cart immediately, without any further detours. This function is particularly useful for our frequent customers who know our products well and know exactly which items they need. Quick order saves you time and effort by allowing you to add your desired products directly and complete your purchase quickly.
05. Search and filter functions
05.1 Intelligent search function and filters
One of the most significant improvements is our new, intelligent search function. This allows you to filter products based on specific characteristics and obtain precise search results. Whether by product type, material, brand or other criteria, our advanced filter function will help you find exactly what you are looking for and save you valuable time. The filter function is available on the left-hand side (desktop view) or at the top (mobile view) of every product overview page.
Please note that you will have to reset your selected filters as soon as you want to see the entire range again.
05.2 Optimized spare parts finder
Our spare parts finder has been optimized to make it even easier for you to find the spare parts you need. The spare parts finder is now available in the header (black bar) on every page of our website. There is a change to the previous spare parts finder: From now on, you can find spare parts by selecting the manufacturer, the loading capacity and the tail lift type. We have added the load capacity option to provide you with even more precise and relevant results.
Example:
You are looking for spare parts for a large 26-ton truck with a BÄR Cargolift tail lift that can lift a 3000kg load. Search as follows:
Manufacturer: BÄR CARGOLIFT
Loading capacity: Capacity 2000kg - 3000kg
Type: BC3000S4
Using the new search function, you can immediately find more precise results for the tail lift types by selecting the loading capacity. This new search function helps you to quickly identify the right spare part and order it if required.
Please note that your search queries will be saved and only the relevant products corresponding to your search will be displayed. If you would like to see the entire product range again, you must reset the search. You can do this directly in the spare parts finder (black bar at the top of the header) by clicking on the red X button. Alternatively, it is easiest to return to the home page, as this will also reset the search settings.
06. Security and notification functions
06.1 Improved security
Your safety is our top priority. That is why we have significantly improved our security system. By using captchas and other security measures, we protect your personal data and payment information even better against unauthorized access and fraud.
06.2 Availability notification
Never miss out on your favorite products again! With our new availability notification, we will inform you immediately when items that are sold out are available again. All you have to do is leave your e-mail address on the respective product page and we will notify you as soon as the desired item is back in stock.
07. Expanded range and exclusive products
07.1 Extended range
Our range of spare parts for tail lifts has been expanded to offer you an even wider range of products. Not only we have added new items, but we have also removed some older spare parts that are no longer available. Whether you are looking for the latest technologies, special offers or proven standard parts - you will find them here. By continuously expanding and optimizing our range, we want to ensure that we can continue to offer a comprehensive selection of spare parts for your tail lifts that covers every need and requirement.
07.2 New own products
Our range of own products has been considerably expanded. Immerse yourself in our exclusive selection of items that are only available from us. We have carefully curated a variety of new products to offer you the highest quality and performance. Our own products not only strengthen our brand, but also our reputation as a reliable supplier. New to our range are products from various areas such as flashing lights, radio remote controls, control boxes, hydraulic oil, charging systems and many more. Some of these items bear our logo as a symbol of quality and reliability.

08.1 360-degree views
We now offer 360-degree views for detailed products. This innovative function gives you the opportunity to view our products from all angles and get a comprehensive picture of them. You can freely rotate the items around their own axis and view every aspect in high resolution. This immersive experience allows you to explore every detail and ensure you get exactly what you need and expect.
08.2 Product comparison function
With our new article comparison function, you can compare different products directly with each other. This feature helps you make well-informed purchasing decisions by allowing you to view the features and prices of multiple items at a glance. By placing the items side by side, you get a clear overview of their features and can easily see which option or version best suits your needs. With this practical tool, you can make sure you choose the right product that meets your requirements.
09. Returns portal and customer service
09.1 Returns portal
Our new returns portal makes registering returns easier and faster. You can now conveniently process returns online via our website. The process is designed to be user-friendly so that you can easily manage your returns. The returns portal is currently in the beta phase and is only available to our customers in Germany with limited functions. We are working intensively on optimizing the portal and then making it accessible to other country groups in the next step. We are open to your feedback during this test phase. Your opinions and suggestions are very important to us and will be actively used to further improve the portal. You can find the returns portal under "Return portal" in the footer of our website.
09.2 Improved newsletter
Our newsletter system has undergone a complete overhaul. The changes will ensure that our newsletters present you with even more relevant content, tailored specifically to your interests and needs. Subscribe to our newsletter and stay up to date with the latest developments, offers and promotions. We strive to provide you with regular, high-quality content that offers you added value.
10. Customer-specific functions
10.1 Separation of private and business customers
We have introduced a clear distinction between private and business customers in order to cater to the specific needs of both customer groups. Private customers can now see prices including VAT, while business customers can see net prices plus VAT. You can easily control this setting via the top menu.
10.2 My account area
The "My Account" area has been extensively expanded and now offers you many new options. Manage your orders, addresses and preferences conveniently in one place. Our new system allows you to manage your account information easily and efficiently. Furthermore, invoice receipts for every order are now automatically made available for download in your account.
11. Internationalization and shipping
11.1 New language: Polish
Our entire store is now also available in Polish. This significant step allows us to make our services accessible to a wider international audience and provide a seamless and user-friendly shopping environment. A large number of our employees, who are native Polish speakers, have been instrumental in translating all the content. We deliberately avoided using the services of translation providers and instead relied on the skills and expertise of our own team to ensure the translation was accurate and authentic. This approach reflects our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
11.2 International shipping
We have significantly expanded our shipping area and now supply twice as many countries as before. This important expansion allows us to ship our products even more easily and efficiently worldwide. Thanks to our improved shipping options, our products are now available for most countries worldwide and can be easily ordered directly via our online store. Whether you are located in a metropolis or a remote area, we are now at your service with an enhanced shipping service.
12. New payment options
12.1 Amazon Pay
We have optimized our payment options to offer you even more flexibility and convenience. We have discontinued the entire payment offer via Klarna and instead introduced Amazon Pay as a new payment method. With Amazon Pay, you can pay quickly and securely with your Amazon account without having to enter any additional payment information.
12.2 Express buttons
In addition, we have integrated express buttons for PayPal and Amazon, which you can use to start the payment process directly in the shopping cart. These changes make your checkout process much easier and faster, especially if you want to shop with us as a guest without registering.
