Control labels – button legends and function symbols on the operating panel
Control labels translate the functions of a tail lift into clear symbols and short captions placed directly on each switch, push button or lever. They mark typical movement directions such as lifting, lowering, folding and locking and guide the operator through every switching step. At SULEJ Ladebordwand you will find control labels as a replacement for worn or faded originals – an important building block to keep the operating sequence unambiguous, also with changing personnel.
Symbol language and button legends at a glance
Control labels show the switching logic of the tail lift compactly through pictograms. Arrows pointing up and down visualise lifting and lowering, a folding symbol marks the opening and closing of the platform, additional icons stand for end-position states or activation of the main switch. Short captions or numbers are often added so the operator recognises the correct sequence of steps. This produces a clear visual operating guide right at the panel that remains understandable without a printed manual.
