Electrical spare parts for DHOLLANDIA tail lifts cover the complete low-voltage architecture of the Belgian lifting modules – from the control box down to the individual fuse. A characteristic feature is the repair-friendly contact-switch logic: instead of stocking complete circuit boards as exchange units, many functions can be restored via single switches, relays or limit switches. Electrical components in the DHOLLANDIA system

The high-current path of DHOLLANDIA electrics is carried by main relays, solenoid switches and power contactors that energise the pump motor and keep current draw on short routes. Fuses and fuse holders in the control box protect the individual circuits against overload and short circuits. Typical wear shows on burnt contact surfaces of the main relays and on corroded terminal points – both become noticeable through voltage drops, sluggish motor response or sporadic shut-offs during operation.

The operating side consists of a hand-cable switch, a radio remote and an optional foot switch, which pass the control pulses on to the logic. Limit switches and position sensors detect platform position and folding state and release the next movement step. The repair-friendly contact switch architecture of DHOLLANDIA electrics allows individual switches and relays to be replaced selectively, without having to swap out entire control boards. The wiring connects all components via plug connectors and junction boxes – during maintenance, it pays off to inspect contacts, seals and strain reliefs, since moisture and vibration are the most common causes of failures.

Note on the repair-friendly electrical architecture

Unlike fully integrated control units, DHOLLANDIA traditionally relies on modular wiring: defects on individual switches or relays can be addressed selectively, without the need to replace the entire control system. During troubleshooting it therefore pays off to check individual contacts and wiring before replacing a complete module – this saves material and reduces vehicle downtime.
