Power pack housings – the load-bearing structure of the hydraulic unit
Power pack housings form the load-bearing frame in which the electric motor, hydraulic pump and oil reservoir are combined into a compact functional unit. They accommodate mounting bores, connection flanges and internal supports, transferring all vibrations cleanly into the vehicle frame. At SULEJ Ladebordwand you will find power pack housings in steel and aluminium versions, matched to the installed component and suitable for common power pack configurations on the market – a solid base for the hydraulic drive of your tail lift.
Load-bearing role and connection layout – more than just a shell
Unlike pure covers, the power pack housing takes on a structural task: it fixes motor and pump in the intended axial position, seals the oil chamber against contamination and provides defined mounting points for valve blocks, pressure lines and return connections. Steel housings are usually deep-drawn and powder-coated, while aluminium housings are produced as die castings or profile constructions. Internal ribs, vibration dampers and sealing surfaces ensure that pump drive vibrations are not transferred to the bodywork and that the oil system remains cleanly enclosed.
