Bolts without tab – classic joint pins with circlip or split pin lock
Bolts without tab are the classic version of joint pins on a tail lift. They are inserted into the bearing point and secured against migration via circlip, split pin or locking screw. This means they can be released in both directions during maintenance, which is particularly advantageous in tight installation situations. At SULEJ Ladebordwand you will find bolts without tab in different diameters, lengths and end designs, matched to common lifting mechanism configurations on the market.
Designs and locking variants – circlip, split pin and cross screw
Common versions are pins with a circumferential groove for circlips, with a cross bore for split pins, or with a thread and cross screw. The end design depends on the surrounding components and the accessible service position. Materials are usually tempered or case-hardening steel with galvanising, sometimes with browning for corrosion protection. The running surface is ground so that the pin sits with low play in the bushing and does not generate increased friction. A correctly dimensioned locking element reliably prevents displacement under dynamic loads.
