Mechanical components in the ZEPRO system
As the central load-bearing structure, the platform carries the full lifting and supporting moment and is matched to the Swedish steel frame across the Z, ZL and ZT series. Lift arms, support arms and welded attachment points distribute the load into the vehicle chassis. Stop bars at the platform edge, mounts for the GV/VA roll-stop barriers and the platform coating are classic wear points that are heavily stressed in tough daily haulage operation by impacts, heavy loads and weather exposure.
The mobility of the platform results from joint pins, bushings and rotary bearings, which sit closely together in the frame-integrated assembly. Play at these points leads to noise, an uneven lifting motion and visible platform tilt – a clear sign that replacement is due. The closing mechanism, hinges and lubrication points complete the picture. Corrosion at bores, worn bushings or deformed pins rank among the typical findings and should be renewed at an early stage before adjacent components suffer damage.
