Hydraulic Components in the MBB PALFINGER System
At the centre of the Hubfix hydraulics sits the power pack made up of pump, motor and reservoir. Depending on the load class, it feeds a varying number of consumers and operates under load over long service intervals. Typical wear shows up on pump bearings, suction filters and in the hydraulic oil itself – discoloured or foamy oil indicates air or water ingress and is usually the first visible sign that the power pack is due for maintenance.
On the actuator side, HUZF and KUFZ travel cylinders work together with locking cylinders in the four size classes Ø32/55, 40/70, 45/80 and 50/95. They are returned to service with matching seal kits made up of rod seal, wiper and piston rings. Directional valves and pressure relief valves define the load path between travel, lift and lock and must align exactly with the locking cylinder size class so that pressure and flow design remain consistent.
