Mechanical Components in the SÖRENSEN System
The load-bearing structure of SÖRENSEN mechanics consists of platforms, folding profiles and roll-cage securings together with the lift arms and swing arms of the X1 and X4 series. Steel structure, welds and supporting profiles define the capacity and service life of the construction. In daily operation, traces of corrosion, deformations at the platform edge and wear on approach rollers become visible – findings that should be documented at every service to permanently safeguard platform stability in loading and unloading work.
Inside the kinematics, joint pins, bushings and pivot bearings with patented geometry absorb the load forces between lift arm, swing arm and platform. Classic wear points are worn-out pin seats, play in the bearing bushings and declining lubrication. Locking rings and the M33x1.5 rod-end adapter secure the defined connection between piston rod and lift arm. Regular greasing and the targeted replacement of worn bolt-and-bushing sets noticeably extend the service life of the lift arm kinematics.
The SÖRENSEN mechanical range comprises several hundred individual parts across all capacity classes and model years. Key component groups include:
- X1/X4 lift arms, swing arms and pivot bearings
- Joint pins, bushings and locking rings
- M33x1.5 rod-end adapters and pin sets
- Platforms, folding profiles and roll-cage securings
In addition, we supply pins, bushings, bearings, platform components, approach rollers, wear strips and numerous further components for maintenance, repair and general overhaul.
