Foot switch electronics – the inner unit of the foot control
Foot switch electronics form the electronic core of a foot switch and translate the mechanical step action into a defined control signal for the tail lift. They are located inside the switch housing, above the actual contact system, and are closely interlinked with the rubber cover, the pressure point and the housing seal. At SULEJ Ladebordwand you will find foot switch electronics as complete replacement boards in different connection and mounting variants, matched to the respective installed component – for reliable operating response in daily truck operation.
Response to step actuation and integration into the switch housing
When the operator steps onto the switching surface, the footplate presses via a lift element against the contact lever of the electronics – a short, defined pressure point triggers the switching action. The board is mounted in the housing in such a way that it remains protected against shock, vibration and water contact from above; usually it is decoupled with rubber rings, foam pads or a potting layer. The strain relief and connector exit laterally from the housing so that the connection cable does not pull on the solder joints. Different board layouts are precisely matched to typical foot switch housings.
