Plugs and sockets – connection connectors for the hand cable switch
Plugs and sockets connect the hand cable switch with the on-board electrical system of the tail lift and establish the electrical connection between operator and control box. They are available as surface or panel mount versions and are secured with coding lug, locking ring or bayonet closure. At SULEJ Ladebordwand you will find matching plugs and sockets in different pin counts and connection variants, compatible with various market configurations – as a common wear position in the hand switch circuit.
Pin counts, protection class and contact type
Connectors differ in pin count (common are 2- to 7-pole versions), in protection class (from IP54 to IP67) and in contact type – screw terminals, crimp contacts or factory-potted connections are common. Housings made of glass fibre reinforced polyamide and nickel-plated contacts increase resistance to salt spray and chemical cleaning agents. The sealing rings at the plug mouth reliably protect the contacts against spray water and dust. A clear coding prevents mis-plugging on the on-board network.
