Brackets – mounting brackets for the control box on the vehicle frame

Mounting brackets for the control box connect the closed switching housing to the vehicle frame or auxiliary frame of the tail lift. They absorb the dead weight of the control box as well as vibrations from driving operation and ensure the exact installation position within operator reach. Designs, materials and vibration decoupling

Brackets are manufactured as angle bracket, U-shape design or as complete fastening plate. Materials are hot-dip galvanised steel, painted steel, stainless steel and aluminium profiles. Fastening to the vehicle frame typically takes place via clamping shells, screw connections or welding points – depending on the construction of the auxiliary frame. Rubber pads or vibration dampers noticeably reduce the vibration load on the control electronics in the control box and prevent loosening of the internal components.

Selection criteria for safe installation position

When selecting a bracket, the dead weight of the control box, the bolt pattern on the housing bottom and the fastening situation on the auxiliary frame are decisive. The installation height should be comfortably accessible for the operator and at the same time protect the control box from stone impact and spray water from the road. When installing, pay attention to correct torque values, provide sufficient cable routing in the control box area and add corrosion protection to cut edges.
