Cable lugs – crimp and press connections for the tail lift electrical system
Cable lugs form the end connection between stranded conductors and screw connections on the on-board electrical system of the tail lift. They are pressed onto the stripped conductor end and thus create a gas-tight, permanently low-resistance contact point. At SULEJ Ladebordwand you will find cable lugs and wire end ferrules in different sizes and connection variants, compatible with various market configurations – as consumables for clean repair and installation work.
Ring cable lugs, butt connectors and wire end ferrules
Common designs are ring cable lugs for screw connections, fork cable lugs for openly accessible terminals, flat receptacle sleeves for plug connections as well as butt connectors for extending individual conductors. Wire end ferrules protect fine-stranded conductors from splaying in spring-cage and screw terminals. Materials are usually tin-plated copper with plastic insulation in standardised colour codes – the colour clearly identifies the matching conductor cross section.
