Mechanical components in the DHOLLANDIA system
The load-bearing structure of every DHOLLANDIA unit is a welded aluminium platform with a peripheral frame and approach edge. Connected to it are swing arms, lifting arms and the closing linkage, which transfer the load moment into the vehicle frame. On the heavy series M3051 through M3070, floor rollers and stop blocks complement the kinematics. Wear typically appears on platform coatings, on bent approach edges and as fine cracks in heavily loaded weld seams over many duty cycles.
At the pivot points, hinge pins and sliding bushings continuously guide the lift moment. Play usually develops once lubrication at the grease nipples is lost, followed by wear on pins and bushings – the platform begins to wobble and the closing stop no longer mates flush. Approach rollers, wear strips and securing rings round off the wear-part family; their regular replacement keeps the geometry within tolerance and protects neighbouring components from consequential damage.
The DHOLLANDIA mechanical range comprises several hundred individual parts across all capacity classes and model years. Key component groups include:
- Aluminium platforms and platform frames
- Swing arms, lifting arms and connecting parts
- Pivot bearings, hinge pins and bushings
- Floor rollers, stop blocks and closing mechanism
In addition, we supply pins, bushings, bearings, platform components, approach rollers, wear strips and numerous further components for maintenance, repair and general overhaul.
