Lubricants – greases and spray lubricants for mechanical connections
Lubricants reduce friction and wear on bolts, bushings, bearings, joints and sliding surfaces of the tail lift. They displace moisture from the lubrication gap, protect against corrosion and ensure smooth motion of lifting arms, platform joints and locking devices. At SULEJ Ladebordwand you will find lubricating greases and spray lubricants in different consistency and temperature classes, matched to the typical lubrication points on tail lifts.
Consistency classes and application areas of lubricant types
Classic lithium and lithium complex greases of NLGI classes 2 and 3 are the standard choice for highly loaded bolt-bushing connections and bearing points. Where water, road salt or frequent cleaning processes occur, calcium sulphonate and water-resistant special greases are used. Spray lubricants based on MoS2 or PTFE are suitable for hard-to-reach joints and fine mechanical components, since they creep in deeply and leave behind a dry lubricating film after evaporation. For chain guides and cable pulls, strongly adhesive lubricants are available, which remain on the component even under continuous load.
