Any questions that come to us from customers (which are not yet included in our FAQ) will of course be supplemented in order to be able to offer you the best possible support for all your questions.

Frequently asked questions

Customer Account & Newsletter

You can of course also order as a "guest" from us without registering. However please keep in mind that you can't take advantage of a registered customer account.

To change your account details please log in with your e-mail address and password under "My Account". There you can change your customer data at any time. Please note that already placed orders remain unaffected by subsequent data changes.

Your personal customer area at "My Account" offers you many advantages such as for example:

  • Free registration
  • Shop faster and more conveniently
  • Easy management of your customer data
  • Overview of all past orders
  • Payment on account (after activation)
  • Discount program for workshops and dealers
  • Loyal customers benefit from attractive prices

With our free LBW-Shop-Newsletter, we will inform you by e-mail about current promotions and other interesting topics relating to the entire area of the "Tail Lift".

If you would like to benefit from our newsletter, you can register at any time under "Subscribe to newsletter".
The newsletter-management is also available in your personal customer account.

The subscription can be terminated at any time by submitting the e-mail address. Your data will not be shared with third parties.
Under "Privacy Policy Declaration" you will find further informations on protecting your data.

No problem.
Simply apply a new password with your e-mail address - this can be done directly under the link "Forgot password".
Then you will receive an e-mail with a link to assign a new password.

After you have successfully changed your new password, your old password will no longer be valid.

Order Process

We would like to ask you to place your first order (as a new customer) directly via our LBW-Shop or in writing/ordering by e-mail.
The following is important:

  • Make sure that your contact-, address- and company data are transmitted to us from the beginning without errors.
  • Please provide a valid phone number for questions.

Your new customer account will then be set up so that nothing stands in the way for the smooth processing of your first order.

You can of course also place your order by phone with us. Please have your customer number or your company data ready.

After completing the order, you will normally receive an automated order confirmation from us by e-mail.
If this is not the case after about 30 minutes, please check the spam folder of your e-mail program.
If there is no order confirmation in your email inbox, please contact our customer service.
We can help you quickly in this matter.

In most cases this can be due to the following:

  • The e-mail address was mistakenly entered incorrectly during the ordering process. As a result, the automated e-mail with the order confirmation didn't arrive.
  • The last step in the shopping cart (checkout) was not fully completed. The order wasn't placed.

You have the option to find the right items either via the direct product search or the search by manufacturer:


Product search via search field:

  • Product name / article description
  • Our item number (Enter numbers without spaces)
  • Manufacturer item number (Enter numbers without spaces)

Product search via manufacturer:

  • Manufacturer (all articles)
  • mechanical parts (Subcategory)
  • electrical parts (Subcategory)
  • hydraulic parts (Subcategory)

Product search for tail lift type using our spare parts finder:

  • Manufacturer => Tail-Lift-Type => Components/Module (this search method is constantly being expanded)

Please note that we offer only the most common spare parts in the shop. If you need spare parts which are not listed in our shop, you can feel free to contact us. We help you!

Purchase as a registered customer

To buy in our online shop, we recommend you to register once.
Under "Open customer account" you create your own user account. After successfully entering your company data, you can immediately order spare parts from us.

With a customer account you have the following advantages:

  • Overview of all past orders
  • Payment on account (after activation)
  • Discount program for workshops and dealers
  • Loyal customers benefit from attractive prices

Purchase as a guest

As a guest customer you can shop in our online shop without registration.
Your contact details are only saved for the current order. No user account is created.
This means that you will have to re-enter all data when you place your next order.

For small orders, there is usually a disproportionately high processing effort in relation to the value of the order, which is why surcharges for this service are often called up.

In our LBW-Shop there are no minimum order value and no surcharge for small quantities. You have the possibility to place small orders in our shop without additional costs. So you can safely order "small material" for "small repairs" on your tail lift.

If you want to redeem a voucher with your order, there may be a minimum order value as well further redeeming conditions.

Shipping & Delivery

No, all packages usually leave our warehouse in the late afternoon from Monday to Friday. There is no shipping on weekends.
Pickups are also possible on Saturday during our known opening times.

Orders are processed as soon as possible and depending on the payment method usually dispatched within 1-3 days.
When ordering with payment in advance, there may be delays, because in this case your order can only be processed and sent out after receipt of payment.
Deliverability required // Please note any different (non-standard) delivery times.

In this case, choose the shipping method by overnight express. Only with this type of delivery the delivery on Saturday is guaranteed until 08:00h. (Only in Germany)
Your order must be received up to 16:00h on Friday at the latest, so that we can still prepare the goods for dispatch in time.
Deliverability is also a requirement here.

Please note the following about the delivery method by overnight express:
The receiver usually can't take receipt the shipment personally.
The package will be stored at night to agreed depot places. If you don't have a depot place, the goods will leave right outside the door.
Make available a secure depot place for the deliverer, so that the goods will not disappear.

Shipping via UPS / DHL:
Standard delivery via UPS or DHL is cost effective, safe and fast.
As a rule, delivery within Germany takes 1-2 working days by UPS and 1-3 working days by DHL.
We ship basically insured with tracking number (tracking code / shipment number).
The tracking number you get with our shipping confirmation via e-mail. You can view the progress of your shipment at all times.
You can view and track the shipping progress also in your user account (Registered account is required).

Shipping via Overnight Express (only in Germany):
The shipment by overnight express is the perfect shipping option when it is urgent.
For orders up to 16:00h we send your ordered goods by overnight express to next day with service up to 08:00h morning.
Important:
The receiver usually can't take receipt the shipment personally.
The package will be stored at night to agreed depot places. If you don't have a depot place, the goods will leave right outside the door.
Make available a secure depot place for the deliverer, so that the goods will not disappear.

International shipping via UPS / DHL:
Our clients from abroad are delivered by UPS or DHL.
The duration of the standard delivery times of UPS / DHL in the corresponding countries can be found in the "Shipping cost table".

Payment & Coupon

Since we also want to make a contribution to environmental protection and most of our customers have now switched to e-billing, your invoice will be sent as follows:

Standard: We send the invoices by e-mail in PDF format to your registered e-mail address.
Optional: We send the invoices by e-mail in PDF format to a separate e-mail address of your responsible department (accounting etc.)

If expressly requested, we can continue to add the original invoices to the package in paper form.

Customs territories (third countries / non-EU member countries):
Invoice dispatch including several copies of invoices + customs documents "signed and stamped" still attached to the package in paper form.

Right of Withdrawal & Returns

In principle, only consumers (private persons) can make use of the right of revocation.
We as a business company by law are not obligated to offer a taking back of purchased goods in the B2B-Business.

We offer all our customers the opportunity, to return the purchased products within 14 days of receipt of the goods to us (at his own expense for credit).

Please note that returned goods must be in original, undamaged manufacturer's packaging, must be complete, and must not bear signs of use.
Incomplete, used, soiled or tested goods will not be taken back.
Please note the 14 day period. If the period is exceeded the withdrawal is not more possible.
(Electrical components can only be returned by prior arrangement)

The refund of the credit depends on which payment method you originally selected for the respective order.
If your return is checked positively, we will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you.

Article & Guarantee

For items purchased in the LBW-Shop the purchaser or buyer has the legal rights under the legal guarantee for commercially used items. The warranty period is 12 months and begins on the date of delivery of the goods to the buyer or a third party designated by him.

Security & Data Protection

Nowadays this question is quite justified, since there are a large number of fake shops in the Internet and an ever higher level of cyber crime.

We have a very clear answer to this question:  You can shop with us without hesitation!
Through our many years of activity in the tail lift industry and the cooperation with all tail lift manufacturers, as well as many well-known workshops, we have earned a serious and reliable status over the years. We attach great importance to customer satisfaction and the loyalty of our customers.
